Well I changed it a bit. Somewhat happy with it, so I'm moving on. I learned a lot working on this one. I'm satisfied with that at least.

Amidst a terrible illness, I've been working on this painting. Thought I'd see what people thought as I went. I am working on the wings now and I need to do something with the background for sure.

Lava

Well it has been almost a month and after a series of running in to other bloggers and friends from days gone by, I was shamed in to updating my blog ;) Trying to be better about it. This started as an abstract collage, and turned in to a lava pit in about 45 minutes. I feel like experimenting, so perhaps new looking stuff is to come.

Welcome 2008!

I'm not big on the resolution thing, but I'd like to post at least one painting a week. I missed the first week of January, but I was working on an actual canvas and acrylic painting. Photos when it is finished. In the meantime, here is an anime girl from a convention (thanks to Hong Ly and characterdesigns.com for the reference photo).
