Illustration Friday - Welcome

I welcome the fall! I think Mother Nature walks the earth, making sure we are all ready for the winter season (easy to say when you live in Southern California). This is a digital study for an acrylic I plan to do for a show. It started as a simple IF sketch, but I think it has promise :)

Bizarre Portrait

This started as a sketch and kind of ended up looking very weird. I don't really like it, but if I don't keep trying, I suppose I never will ;)

Little Grass Shack

My friend Jess used to have a blog called Little Grass Shack, and today that was where I wanted to be. On the beach, in Hawaii, near a little grass shack.

Yuki-onna

A Japanese legend, the Yuki-onna is often depicted as a beautiful woman with long flowing hair. Tales vary, but according to the toy that inspired this, she lures men to their death by convincing them to lay with her in the snow.
